3D printing has the potential to revolutionize the way we make almost everything. — Barack Obama
In a decade we will live in a different world. More developed, but hopefully also more responsible, sustainable and accessible.
Today and in the immediate future, 3D printing can evolve manufacturing operations to be more efficient and advanced, more accessible, more responsible and with a much lower footprint. Low-cost 3D printing can create preconditions for entirely new products, new business models and reimagined supply chains. These are all signs of a breakthrough, a revolutionary new way of making things.
This potential can be applied to many industries. In 2021 this is not yet widely seen. Ours is the honour and the curse of being among the first movers. It is this opportunity that we are after. It’s our moment now to create a breakthrough.
The important thing about breakthroughs was that they didn't happen over an extended period of time. They changed things overnight. And they could occur at any moment. — Nick Cook
